Shock Value Blackground/Interscope Records B-
While the lead off track "Give It To Me" (feat. Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake) is a bumping club track that has staked it's claim as the number one downloaded track on iTunes for the past week, the entire album Shock Value leaves this listener with mixed feelings.

No Need To Be Downhearted Better Looking Records B- This title, No Need To Be Downhearted seems like a bit of an oxymoron to me because listening to The Electric Soft Parade's third album (which is actually the first of theirs to be released in the States) is quite the melancholy experience if I do say so myself. | |
